Why seconds and pauses in texting speak louder than words

Hello, in the world of online dating, timing is practically an art. On online dating services, I notice that people fall into two types: those who respond faster than my screen can blink, and those whose "typing..." message turns into a whole mini-story.

And you know what? Both can be sweet.

Those who respond quickly seem to say, "Hey, I'm interested in you right now." It's pleasant, warm, almost like a gentle touch through the screen.

And those who pause... they create intrigue. On the best international dating sites, a pause sometimes doesn't indicate a lack of interest, but the opposite: the person is choosing their words, trying to write beautifully, not automatically. And I appreciate that. After all, at the international online dating website, we're looking not just for correspondence, but for a genuine sense of reciprocity.

For me, timing isn't a test, but a rhythm of communication. Everyone has their own. The main thing is that the messages are filled with emotion, not empty air.
