Why I message first on dating site

In the world of online dating services, one question sparks endless debate: who should write the first message? Is it the man’s job to make the first move, or is that rule a thing of the past? As a woman navigating international dating site, I say it's time to let go of old-fashioned rules.

We've been told to wait. Wait for him to make the first move and to plan the date. And on some relationship websites, this still feels like the norm. It can lead to a lot of time spent staring at a blank screen, waiting for a "hello" that may never come.

But why? When we're using these sites to find love online and build genuine connections, does it really matter who types first? In my experience, a woman making the first move shows confidence and cuts through the noise. It breaks the ice and shows you're taking an active role in your own dating journey, not just passively waiting to be chosen.

So, when I think like, "Should I message him?" The answer in my head is a resounding "Yes!" Ditching the outdated rules. The worst that can happen is he doesn’t reply. The best that can happen? I just might start a conversation that leads to something truly special.

    ID: 300

About the Female Figure and Self-Acceptance

    ID: 295
Hello, today I want to talk about something very personal the female figure. So often women are told how they should look. Too slim, too curvy, too tall, too short... it feels like there is always something to criticize. From a young age, many of us learn to compare ourselves with others instead of listening to our own bodies. For me, a female figure is not about numbers, sizes, or trends. I...

Hello, my name is Ivanna, and today I want to share a small piece of my mood. Winter is here, and I have to admit I miss summer a lot. I miss warm mornings, light dresses, open windows, and the feeling that the day is long and full of possibilities. Now everything outside is cold, gray, and quiet. The air is sharp, the days are short, and sometimes even my thoughts feel slower. In winter, I spen...

I thought real connections could only happen in real life through friends, work, or chance meetings. But life changes, people move, work a lot, and the world becomes faster. At some point, I realized that being open to new ways of meeting someone doesn’t me...
