June is here, and it didn’t just knock on the door it burst in with a wave of intense heat and bright, endless days. Here in Ukraine, June has a specific kind of energy. The streets are filled with the scent of blooming linden trees, the cafes have spilled out onto the sidewalks, and everyone seems to be moving a little slower, trying to savor the shade.
For me, this summer heat always sparks a sense of reflection. When the days are this long, you can’t help but think about the future, about connections, and about how small the world has actually become.
