Today I want to talk about something very sweet: the first date. When you finally decide to move from online matchmaking services and international online dating sites to a real meeting, you have a big question: Where should we go? Is it better to meet at a cozy cafe or have a quiet evening at home?
When you finally meet someone special from another country, the first date is so exciting! But where is the best place to go?
The classic cafe date:
For many people, a cafe is the perfect choice. It is safe, public, and very relaxed. You can drink a delicious coffee, listen to soft music, and talk for hours. In international relationships, the first meeting is a big step! A cafe allows you to see the person’s eyes and hear their voice without the pressure of a big dinner.
The cozy home date:
A date at home is more serious. It is very romantic to cook together! You can share your culture through food. For example, I love making traditional Ukrainian borscht for my guests. However, I think a home date is better for the third or fourth meeting, when you already feel comfortable and trust each other.
I think international relationships is beautiful because it brings the world together. Sometimes, when you meet foreign women online, the distance makes the first date very special. You have waited a long time to see each other!
